recently ive seen alot of pictures of psp's modded with lights various ways... shoulder lights, under the all the buttons, nubs and even in the umd door.
i think they all look great and all...but im not to sure i can do such a mod...ive read up on it a bit, and it seems to be a fairly difficult mod to do.
ive never done any small soldering...so im afraid i might mess up my psp.
i did find someone that does the work for you..but it seems kinda costly.
im about to get one of the camy pro(dragon)faceplates with clear buttons.
and i would like to get some push activated shoulder buttons(red) with a light also underneath the nub(white) and under the rest of the buttons(red)... plus the indicator lights changed to red and white.
i think it would look nice...but i would cost over $150 to do it.
here is that guys website that does the mods for you. website<--
do you think its worth it?
has anyone here ever modded their psp like this?
is it as hard as some people say?

If you have a soler gunn or you can get it on ebay super cheap...... you could try practicing soldering on other objecys before you start this one .... jus try soldering small electonical things ad other various objects

Those things are pretty slick, but i dont know if there worth 150$ man just like what ash said

I agree with u it is not worth it. plus with all those lights the battery life of ur psp will decrease.

Its not to expensive for this mod and it doesn't drain your battery as much as people think. I found a website that'll add lights to the L + R buttons, umd jewel, lights on umd door and make it sound reactive cost for mod $55. Although there based out of Singapore but do offer shipping search for Qisahn and you'll see.

i suggest finding someone locally to do it for you. i have seen that site before and i am very excited to get my trigger modded. buying ALL the supplies was under 15 dollars and i have enough supplies to mod 4 triggers. the bigger hurdle is soldering the LEDs they are TINY my suggestion is to call a few of your local hobby shops that do model work RC cars and stuff like that. check the phone book or even crieg's list talk to them and let them know what you are doing most people are nice and if you have most of the supplies and are willing to throw them a 20 for 30 mins of their time. just make sure they are skill at what they are doing bring a few extra LEDs see if you like their work dont rush into things is my suggestion. good luck tell me how it turns out.
