every time i try to open my xbox 360 tray it gets stuck i heard that a update can fix it but i dont see how and i dont have a hard drive but if somebody can help then please do

I don't think that is a software problem it is a hardware problem.
Here is a list of ways to fix or find out more about this probelm:

1. Phone Xbox 360 support for help.
2. Contact someone at xbox.com for help and advice.
3. Buy a new Xbox 360 drive but they are a round £40.00
4. Take your console to the place of purchase and get a new one if you still have your warranty.
5. Investigate more around the web for answers.

how old is ur 360 man!!! do u have a warranty or something....if not then try finding a new set of "tray" which is like $20 or upgrade, but i think its bc it hit something didnt it???
