Hi Everybody,
I have tried myself on a bunch of occasions to get into graphics but I never seem to find the right programme and things always go bad for me!
I'm going to give it another shot and hopefully this time I can keep at it and practise and finnally become good at it!
Just wondering if people could recommend some programmes that are good and I'll try and get them
Thx STEVE

I'll give them a go.
I know there are expensive to buy, so I'll see what I can do!
Thanks!

Like everyone said photoshop is the best, when the pc section is back up you can download it free there

But if you happen to have a linux system available u should try gimp.. I like some things about gimp more than photoshop

Photoshop is a lot more flexible than gimp and produces better images in the end.

I disagree, granted I prefer photoshop but unless its printwork quality gimp is great for editing. Not to mention is open source. (I tend to support open source). Just in case any of you feel like a quick read about some comparisons of gimp and photoshop

I've even ran across a windows install using the GTK+ 2 Runtimes

At school I work all day using Fireworks and Illustrator, both are handy programs.
I just started using Photoshop a few days ago, and it has ALOT to offer.
I would highly recommend those three programs:
- Illustrator
- Fireworks
- Photoshop
Just dont use Microsoft Paint =P

Bizzle its hard to get used to at first, but once you learn the workaround its not bad. And regardless what anyone says, ps is better than gimp. Yeah gimp can do a lot of the same things, but its much much easier to get quality work on ps and it has a better support base. If you need help bizzle, just ask me.

Still learning my way around ps (Haven't had much free time to practice) But as soon as I can I'll get some practice in.
I will post some of the designs in here and hopefully ye will be able to give me pointers to better them!
