I bought a PSP-1000 out of Japn and was wondering if I will need a voltage convertor to charge it.

Japan and the US use the same voltage (120V). If you live in Europe you'll need a 240V converter.

Heh well there ya go smile.gif

actually the PSP charger is universal around the world. It will accept any regular voltage and convert it to what the psp loves.

I know becuase I am in the UK and have brought PSP's and just swapped the figure of 8 power cable for a UK one smile.gif

Well what I think he meant was if he needed a voltage converter for the charger he got with his PSP.

no, you really dont, just swap the cable for one that fits your sockets...it's really that simple. It's a universal charger.

Anyways, nope you dont need any voltage converter. You would just need the correct ''figure of 8 lead''.
