Hi,

I just bought a second hand PSP (v2.01) and a 4GB Sony memory card from ebay from someone with 100% feedback. Formatted the card with the PSP and hooked it up to my laptop (running XP) and it wouldn't let me view the memory card - laptop asks me to format memory card. Gave that a go (formatted inFAT32) but now the memory card has none of the PSP folders. Ive tried putting some of the folders on manually which seems to work. (structure Im using is PSP/GAME,PHOTO,MUSIC,VIDEO/files)

My questions are:
1. What are all the folders that I should have on my memory stick?
2. Can I run the downgrader on it after I done all these manual memory stick adjsutments, or will the memory stick be missing something important?

Many thanks in advance

Risked the downgrading and everything seems to have gone ok. Also found this useful guide for folder structures: http://home.satx.rr.com/mybsod2/pspfolderfilechart.htm

I can't help, but what was your buying experience with ebay because I was thinking of buying from there.

the card seems to be legit and works fine. I used a seller called ipodlondon. was about £27 for a 4gb card. only problem ive had with it has been the fact that when I format it with the PSP my laptop doesnt recognise it. But formatting it with the laptop seems to have not done it any harm
