Right I want to be able to watch youtube/dailymotion on my psp, is there any sort of homebrew or crack that will let me upgrade flash player or any other way around it without having to download mp4s?

If so I'll be the happiest guy alive...maybe tongue.gif

yeah he needs like flash 5 but there is no hack for it now. maybe sony will surprise us with an upgrade like that.
ryanhutchings
yeah cos youtube etc. need a newer version of flash than what the psp explorer has. such a shame, means I can't watch the simpsons on my psp on peekvid :'(

nvm, hopefully something will come along soon

until a newer version is made just download the .flv video and convert it using SUPER converter or MediaCoder or http://media-convert.com/convert/ to MP4

i hate the psp browser.
i usually end up exiting so the page loads quicker
im hoping for a new upgrade with Flash 9...unlikely.... and faster internet

I personally think the PSP browser sucks but I blame my wireless network lol. I expect it could be a lot faster with a better WLAN chip inside the PSP but there are a few issues with the browser itself, for example Flash and Java updates.

Come on, someone needs to make a homebrew that allows direct access to Flash or swf. files :'(

I found something kinda useful, gona test whether it works on the PSP.

http://vixy.net/

Its an online youtube / dailymotion / veoh / any video website converter. It turns a video's link into an actual .mp4 file. May be useful as long as I can download the resulting mp4 file straight onto my psp.

::edit::

i also found a "podcaster" on that same site but its down at the moment. lets u do the same as the converter but downloads it as a podcast or a "psp"file, which i'm assuming is a .mp4 file still

the service works perfectly fine on my laptop / pc, but i havent tried it on my psp yet as i'm downloading daxterand the psp is a bandwidth hogger. If someone else could try it out then give me some feedback before I get a chance to do it myself that'd be cool.
