Ever since upgrading I seem to have no wireless connection. I think
Firstly I have never connected in the first place but I seem to remember there being a light when I flicked the switch on. The switch seems like it is broken but cant be 100% sure.
I thought one of my kids had dropped it and it had broken.
Now that I have a wireless router I thought I would be able to connect.
Do you think this is related to the upgrade.
Sorry if you think this is a daft post but the only reason I brought it up is because somebody on another forum (not psp related, football) seems to have the same problem, although he got an error message.

No problems with any of the firmwares, but the wifi seems kinda quirky overall. One of mine works great, one works but has shitty range, and one works great except it won't conect ad hoc for transfers, does fine for gaming though.
What are you doing to connect to the network, a few details please.
try finding a buddy and try ad hoc.

Setting up your wifi needs a some configuration with your PSP(since you have stated that you never online before), therefore you need to refer your manual to get it done. Also make sure you know your wireless router security setting is on either "no security" or "wep".

I had this problem for a while after updating to 3.10 OE-A2. I had wireless, but I kept getting the blue screen that said it ran into an error of the big infamous blue screen saying that O will reset the settings. WHat's worse is the psp would freeze after this point and I'd be stuck. I eventually got to the point of resetting a wireless connection and it worked (I really have no idea how though). Hopefully this helps a bit.

Go to settings on the main menu. then go to network settings, and change it to infrastructue. this might work

Thanx for your suggestions guys but I have come to the conclusion that it is most probably broken, having taken off the front cover and having a little gander at the little flimsy plastic switch. It looks as if it is not actually doing anything (not touching anything on the inside).
