Full Version: How-To set up homebrew on a Custom Firmware

Lil Tip
Well for those that are new to custom firmware. smile.gif

Even though its easy some people may find it of some use.
Please post if this has helped you, also can you please tell me if this is in the wrong section.
This guide is for versions 3.03 oe - 3.10 oe.

1. Unzip it using WINRAR.

2. Power up the PSP go all the way to the left then click on USB Connection

3. Depending on what firmware u have paste the rename the folders 3.03 oe/3.10 oe to PSP

4. Paste this folder into the which contains the follwing MP_ROOT, MUSIC, PICTURE, PSP and VIDEO.

5. If It asks if u want to overwrite press yes (If not skip this.) REMEMBER TO BACK UP ANY FILES.

6. Disconnect your USB and turn off your PSP.

7. Hold R and switch your PSP on DONT PANIC if everything goes well u should see a screen saying Recovery Mode.

8. Click on Configuration then on Game folder homebrew (currently: 3.03/3.10 Kernal.)(ONLY DO THIS
IT DOESNT SAY 3.03/3.10.

9. Click back then Exit.

10. To put homebrew on put the folder/files in GAME.

PS. Please do not play with Flash0 or the recovery mode if you dont no what you are doing.
