IrShell will work as a remote for anything that uses a remote! Its great and its on this site. Just do a quick search!

umm i downloaded it and everything what else are suppose to download other than ir shell and the codes..... and i tried working this on some of my tvs but it didnt work... please help:(

Universal Remote 1.2 is great there are tons of remotes, however its very hard to find the right one that actually works on your TV.

Firstly you need iR Shell v3.1 (the latest version): http://www.irshell.com/download.html

Then you need to find the codes for your TV; if they are not in the "1300 codes" package, have a look here: http://www.psp-spot.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=35254

is there an easier way to find it out other than testing each one out?
like looking at the real remote

If you find the model of the TV/DVD/Satellite/whatever you might be able to find the exact one on RemoteCentral.

r u asking if u can change channel with a program with a program like tvu player or pimpstreamer because i think the answer to that is u just have to do it manually on the computer

No, I think he's asking if you can use the PSP as a remote control, which is possible using iR Shell.

The newest version of iR Shell (v3.1) works on 3.10 OE-A (or any custom firmware).
