i just noticed this yesterday but when ever i'm listening to my music or doing anything on my PSP and while the PSP is turned on, when i plug in my charger, my PSP screen just goes black
and when i unplug it the light in on green but screen's still black and i can't get it back up to normal

so i have to restart it
there's no setting or anything for PSP to do that

maybe i should change my battery or charger or both maybe??
did anyone notice this kind of things??

i have the USB/CHARGER thing for my computer to connect it to my PSP and when i plug into my PSP it doesn't shut off
so i'm guessing its my AC adapter one that just plugs itself into electrical outlet?

thats weird just try your friends battery or charger for his psp
if it works just buy a new one or switch em when hes not lookin
lol
you may have to get a new psp even
hmm iv never had this problem before srry i cant be of much help
Andifer
none of my friends have PSP lol
i don't think its PSP itself...hopefully its not cuz i only had it for lil bit over a year
since it only occurs when i try to charge it when PSP is turned on so i'll just play PSP by itself and then charge it when i sleep

its not really that big of a problem for now
TYLENOL800
thats really weird i had a bit of a similar problem but if it isnt messing up the psp maybe you shouldnt worry and if its not bothering you, but i really dont know.

Try the dimmer switch bro, all kinds of wacky black screen issues come back to the screen going in to power save mode

Just a thought

what fw do u have? try reinstalling
Andifer
i have firmware 3.11 i don't know now it seems like its fixed for some reason..

my battery life seems kind of low so im planning on buying a new battery anyways so hopefully that would permanently fix the problem
DaBeastie
you said you are useing the USB charger? that may be the problem try useing the regular charger.

i ve never heard of that before. i think u should just buy a new battery and see if the problem still remains
nivlack
its probably your ac addapter. you can go out and buy a new one, and if the same problem still occurs, then refund the adapter, and also refund ur psp
Andifer
i don't think i can refund my PSP since i had it for like 2 years and also i don't even know where the receit is..lol
