i have been looking at buying a new memory stick dor the psp. i am going to buy a 4GB memory stick pro duo but i saw that different memory sticks have different writing speeds. does the write speed make a difference when i am watching a film or playing music or playing a game on my psp. will it slow down if i am watching a film on a memory stick of a low writing speed? hope this makes sense lol smile.gif

Well i skim readed that and it made sense lol - well it depends - the fake ones have a slow writing speed (pc to psp) but i have one and also a real one and theres no difference when using them but iv herd theres a slight difference. But if you buy a memory stick you can change the FAT on it to FAT32 like i did but i didn't notice much difference

just buy any becaus if it does slow down while ur watching it take it bak and exchange it

nope it aint gonna slowdown watching movies & playing games... the speed of the memory stick pertains to the transfer rate when you're putting a file in it...

FAT32? Are you sure bout that? As far I heard it only support FAT16.

ok thanks for the tips by the way what is FAT, FAT 32and FAT 16 is it like a firmware for your memory stick?

Just format it with the PSP itself will do. You'll only have the FAT thingy while formating the card with your PC.
