hi i have installed dark alex custom firmware 3.10oea' and just wanted to know wheter the recovery menu needs any additional file/programs added to recover a psp from a bricked state.
I just want to know as a precautionary measure in case i brick my psp.
any help greatly appreciated

there is a recovery folder that was released with 3.02OE package
it has all the recovery files in it

The recovery menu doesn't require any extra files.
However, you might want to copy the 1.50 EBOOT file to the correct place (can't remember where this is at the moment, check the OE readme). But that shouldn't really be necessary as you can enable USB via the recovery menu and copy any extra files you need.

where do they get put?

psp/game/RECOVERY put the stuff there or if u want 2 reinstall the fw jus put the eboot and the dxar file of what firmware u are and run it from recovery
