ok, well i couldent find any threads on this subject..... but i know i cant be the first to ask....
WHY OH WHY do we keep converting media to mp4 instead of converting psp to everything else...
i understand theres a psp media player out... but i also understand it sucks bad
yes, im ignorant, but i want to know... can somebody please tell me why we must constantly convert?

The PSP supports MP4 natively (via the XMB) so most people would want to use that.
It would be good if there was a decent homebrew media player, but no one has coded one; the hardware capabilities of the PSP should be enough (just about) to support one, but it seems that no devs have really put much time into it.
Also, some people don't have homebrew support, such as if they are on 3.10 or 3.11 firmware.

Easier to convert to MP4 than to create a HOLE application or plugin for the PSP
none the less, there is demand... i have offered a programmer that lives near me 100$ usd to code me a full speed divx player, the same goes for you guys, whoever can get a me fullspeed (reletivly)bugfree app gets my money, other seem to be willing to pay 2, for development anyway, if my paying 100 bucks its going open source as soon as possible.... n e 1 interested?
