Hi guys!

Was just curious, reading up the many websites and postings on FW 1.5 and 3.03OCE (or higher) custom FWs while searching for information on Dark_AleX's newest FW -

How often do you guys update your FW? Once a newer or stable version of a custom FW comes out, or are you still in 1.5?

I don't update my PSP regularly as long the latest firmware does have additional features that I want and more stability in terms of running games, homebrews or PSX games.

I upload it frequently. But make sure i know everything about it. Like bugs and fixes.

I stay on the most stable FW availible. I have been on 3.03OE-C since it came out and I have tried 3.1OE and hated it. For the people STILL on 1.5.....wake up and get on 3.03OE-C and join the crowd!!

Thanks for the replies guys! I just got my PSP barely 2 days ago and am pretty stoked to find out about this forum. =)

Detracting from the topic - I suppose unless you don't want to go "legit", 3.03OE-C seems to be "the way to go"... But I've read in another forum that the PSP bricks if you try to switch from a custom FW to the official Sony FW (I'll post the link if I can dig it up again).

One question.....why would you want to go back to sony's firmware anyways...lol. I have went back to the official 1.5 over a dozen times! NO BRICK HERE!

I think the bricking was from upgrading from 3.03OEC to a higher level 3.XX Sony FW!

I'm not too sure.... I'm using 0.51, but the latest I saw online, which was not that stable then (3 weeks ago) was 0.52
