Depends on the brick. But from a few of my friends experiences they were lucky and the chip saved them.

It depends; if you have OE custom firmware, you might want to see if recovery mode will run (hold R when booting).

try recovery and if not ive had friends that have both loved it and saved the psp or did nothing at all....id rather save a bitmore and buy a new psp.
