hi i'm kinda new to here.. well i've been a member since like early feb. but i didn't do much until i got my 4 GB memory card which was yesterday
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. i successfully downloaded a movie and played it on my PSP
but i can't get the ISO files to run on my PSP
i did all the instruction with the fast loader and all that stuffs but it still didn't work
is it because i have version 3.11??
cuz it says the ISO data is corrupt when i go to the games section on my PSP
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2. what's PSP recovery used for?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3. When i'm playing Ratchet and Clank: SM the game freezes for few seconds once in a while (i bought the actual game) does this happen to any of you guys??
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

that's all for now~
nice to meet you all~ laugh.gif

do you have 3.11 or a custom firmware... if you jus have 3.11 .. you cant play homebrew on that so basically since no one yet has been able to hack the 3.11 firmware.. your not going to be playing iso for a while .... psp recovery basically is for custom firmware..... its used to unbrick psps or re flash the motherboard... you also use recovery to change the settings of a custom firmware.. hoe this helps

Well, since i dont wanna waste space with a new topic, heres another question towards teh more knowledgable here.

How would you play a multidisc game on your psp? i know many are playing FF7 on theirs right now, but i was wondering, how woudl the disc swapping thing work out?
greenandgeewy
i just started the second disk of ff9, just make sure the save ID is the same for both games, and multi disk games that dont allow u to save before swapping disks are going to give u a problem... because u have to quit the app and start over with a new disk... ff games work fine have fun

Andifer:

Since u r running 3.11 ISO's and hombrew are out.

Recovery mode is 4 custom fw, it helps kinda reset back to 1.5 if u screw up

The freezing in ratchet and clank is prob. just the game pulling data from the UMD, never had that to happen but it is a reasonable assumption

thnx all for help~
well i got to complete ratchet and clank first anyways (since the game froze while i was saving when i had the whole game completed once)
that's gonna keep me busy for awhile
then after that i'm just gonna play MHF on xlink kai (too bad my idiotic friend overwritten on top of my character with 100 hrs of game play on it..... mad.gif

once again thnx for all the help guys~

P.S. thanks for helping u guys!!!!! alot!!!!!!!!!!!!
thankz for answering idiots!!!!

I know sony sells a camera specifially made for psp, but im unaware of any other cameras that has been able to work on the console, though I've never bothered to look.

Thanks for the aid with the multidisc stuff. I was worried I would get into a game, begin to enjoy it, and fail to beat it due to the face I can't "swap the discs."
