Yah Persid is right its the reverse it puts the psp on to the tv. and there are other devices that do that and you dont have to take your psp apart but this one does it better and you can plug a ps2 controler in to the back!!!

I don't think that hurt his psp at all. If you notice, all he did was add a new ribon cable and faceplate, but everything else was still there. I think it was an addition.
