i want to know if anybody has ever deleted a umd.
the umds can hold 1.90 GB in total.
i use USB SSS to c the umd on my computer instead of the memory card
when i try to delete it ,
my computer says error write protected disc either remove protection or use another
disc.
so i figured umds are cd-r .

How would i remove the protection to put a different file on their.

I'm not sure if I am understanding properly; are you trying to modify a UMD?
This isn't possible as the PSP doesn't have any UMD writing capabilities.

If the UMD could be seen as a CD-R (which I don't think it can), the PSP would be like a CD-ROM drive (not a CD-RW drive).

Your correct adw888, there is no way of deleting the UMD....where in the world did you get this from?

How would that even remotely work, if you put the UMD in the computer you will totally f*ck it up, and there is also the issue of putting the UMD info on a mem stick. Sorry but there is no way this would work
