For those who were able to bypas the 2.0 firmware sign up (lie me), and have the disc (like canada), have you tested it with the WAB Version changer? This would be great, I should be getting mine in a week or so, anyone know?

im from canada and ima beta tester for socom ftb i havent got it yet im still waiting i hope the WAB Version changer works for it it works for 1.51 games ill just wait and see

ok i just got the beta you need to update your psp to 1.52 to play it so i used WABs Version changer and it works just fine for me

the ISO for the beta is out on torrent sites.

Tried Socom yesterday and I could see a game with two people in it, but it wanted a username and password to join. Is this because the beta has not started yet or will a username and password be required for the duration of the beta trials?

its had 2 people for ages wont know if anyone can join till its properly up

4 days in counting. Hopefully with all the ISO's spreading around on the net, their servers can handle all the excess load.

News for anyone with the ISO, the servers are up and running, the game is pretty fun and is almost completely lag free (with 300+ on the server)

no, u make your own account in the game, it doesnt require any information, just put in the name you want, and the pw you want and hit register, done.

Yeah, too bad this game sucks big time. Man, the PSP really needs two analog sticks. This game's controls suck.
