sometimes when i go to switch my psp off the green light just carries on flashing the screen goes blank but doesnt switch off and im forced to take my battery out.....i was wondering whether this was a problem with the firmware im using, 3.03 OE B

I guess that depends on what youre doing when this happens. Plus if you hold your power button long enough it will shut off. You shouldnt have to take the battery out.

While its true that homebrew apps that have issues with shutting down the psp can cause this, I dont think it will really negatively hurt your psp if it doesnt shut it off when you tell it too from the program. Just restarting the psp fixes the issue.

He said when he uses the power switch, which an app should really affect that anyway.
