I found it when browsing around, i did not upload this so please do not give me any credit at all thanks

CODE

1. Once you download it run the installer and DO NOT put in a serial!!!!
(just click next and then it will ask you if u wanna put in a serial and click no..)

2. After you install it dont open it!

3. Go to my computer>>C:>>program files>>common files>>microsft shared>>office12>>office setup controller>>proof.en

4. Open up the XML file inside that folder in notepad. ( if your using vista you have to give your self permisions to the directory.)

5. Find this Line it should be located at the very bottom.

<Feature Id="SetupXmlFiles" Cost="1248">
<OptionRef Id="AlwaysInstalled"/>
</Feature>

6. Change alwaysinstalled to neverinstalled and save the file. then enjoy!!

I heard that Office 2007 is not compatible with other versions.. say i have office 2003 at my house then office 2007 at school... i heard you need some kind of converter to use the 07 file on the 03 version... is this true

Is this the final version or a beta?

And I've also heard of incompatibilities between Office 2007 and earlier versions, sometimes worse than OpenOffice.org's MS Office compatibility.

sadly thats quite a common feature on Microsoft office, u can open old office files on new office versions but sadly not new office files on old office versions

i didn't upload this file i found it so am not sure.
Harry you can access it with both, when you go to save word or what ever make sure you click save as then click something like compatable with other things, because i showed allsorts this, he was using 2007 and my computer is 2003 at first it didn't work until i told him to save it in another way

i can't change the xml file!!!
i have vista and it says "Cannot create the C:\Program Files\Common Files\micosoft shared\OFFICE12\Office Setup Controller\Proof.en\Proof.XML file.

Make sure that the path and file name are correct."

Edit: never mind i just moved the file to the desktop and edited it then moved it back
