I got one, it's pretty decent. I haven't had much problems. Not really necessary unless you can't afford a good router or your current router's gay(like mine T.T).

so in other words its good if u just wanna surf the web? it doesnt cut out or anything?

Yea, it's good for surfing, hasn't cut out on me yet.

i have one and it works great for me, i play online and surf the web and i havent had any problems

Alright guys...I bought the WIFI MAX and well I hate that thing.....it sucks ass and is useless. You don't need it. I have had nuthin but trouble with it. So I tryed to delete it and it took needed files with it. So needless to say Im pissed about it. It was like 40$ And thats 40$ that I feel like I lost. DO NOT BUY.

I've worked in a video game store for well over a year and have seen it returned almost every time I've sold one. It honestly isn't worth the money and you can get a cheap router for that price.

Yea I have one too and I can't get it to work right. I had it for 2 weeks now and still can't get it to work right. I've even call the company for help and still no luck.

Been hearing lots of complains over the wifi max regarding about setup, lost connection and only works with PSP!. Just pay a lil' extra for a wifi router connecting your PSP and wifi compliant gadget without any problem.

yea thanks for the input. i probably will get a router, but i need help, if you have an internet connection is the router all you need to get and then u have wireless internet for ur psp?

its a load of s*** ive had it for 6 months dont get it ive tryed so many ways tryin 2 workj it an stil nuttin biggest waste of money.

its not bad. you have to do a lil home work for the version issues...plus you can use it on the Kai network.

Free, yea but there requires some difficult set up depending on the router. It also might be a good idea to get a WEP code which keeps your wireless internet connection private and prevents outsiders from 'stealing'. Just remember to write down your WEP code saved if you do so. It's annoying trying to find out the WEP code again.

Wifi is a method of broadcasting a signal over the air vs over a wire. Like cellular phones vs landlines, except wifi is much much much more confined in it's limits unless you get a powerful range extender, then you can make it so it's reach is farther than that of a normal line unless you use boosters on the line.

Downside is that it's much easier to disrupt a wifi signal and to get into it if the person doesn't have protections in place.

could this work with a ds too?

On that website I don't see any wifi max for ds, however they may have a product just like that for the ds.

actually the current wifi right now is alright. i dont think you need a max just yet

my router got jacked up cus i didn't have a WEP key. I don't know how to set a WEP key, seems complicated.

I have the WiFi Max and it's pretty good- the software included to interface with the PSP is a lot like Media Manager, but the best part about it is that it is an inexpensive WiFi adapter dongle. I haven't had any problems with it.

i heard it sucks hardcore from everybody that has touched one , find a program on the internet that does the same thing or get an wireless router .

I have a great router and Im happy with it.
However I heard something that u need this for x-link kai to play online. I dont know. Maybe somewhere in the future Ill get one.
