It looks cool, but VERY pricey. And I still dont understand how that thing wont look like crap after 1 week of use. It looks like it will scratch easy just like my video ipod.

Hmm its a good idea because when i put my ipod in one pocket and my phone in the other i have no where to put my keys and wallet and stop them getting scratched! But im not going to buy one becuase my 30GB Video is brand new and why would i want another mp4 player?

well its not gonna come out in a while, so maybe by then you will want it, besides its not just a mp4 (: its so much more!

I already have a PDA. I already have a cellphone. I don't need them combined into one device. Especially not at that price.

Combined with the fact that only one provider uses it, i'll pass.

as i understand it, apple is not allowing providers to lock this baby... so no PUK codes for unlocking, no "phone hacking" and, SAME PRICE AT EVERY CARRIER.... yes u can buy it on ebay and it will work... yes that is garanteed... nice huh?

It looks cool. And like other people have said, looks a little fragile, that screen looks like it will scratch easilly.
The phone that i get googly eyed about is the htc universal or qtec 9000 whatever name it goes by with different carriers. Most people don't like big phones, but i have a treo right now and I would never be able to go back to a small phone without a qwerty.

its a huge touch screen, i know its likely to get scratches so i can get a plastic cover (from a ds or psp and cut it to fit on the i phone) or maybe it'll be sold really cheap so i can get that too. plus it has skype and internet and plays videos and music and shows pictures ipod style plus it has a sensor that flips the image so that its always facing up! but its expensive... and im currently unemployed

whats so good about it? you could get a phone alot better than it and pay alot cheaper. its just the brand you are paying for.get a nokia or SE. they have the best quality and user friendly phones, Apple aint experienced enough with phones yet.

I'd stick with an MP3 phone like the Sony Walkman

its more than a phone its really a phone/mp3 player/PDA in 1, basically its got a cut down copy of Mac OS X on it, like the safari browser so it can deal with actual internet and not just WAP internet

i think its gonna suck, its not going to be 3g, fully touchscreen without a keypad would make texting and dialing annoying and who knows how long the touch screen will last given the abuse it will take, other than that id have to wait to see how bad load times and such are. and to the people saying they wish it wasnt only for cingular, cingular is the only one that bid on it. verizon turned it down.
