OK, so, i have seen a few people asking for an EXACT step by step proces instead of reading and absorbing the infromation for themselves. anyway, here is what i have compiled.

I. Tools
A.Euro 2.0 firmware update disk
B.A psp GAME that has the 1.50 update on it
C.A brain.......

II.Notes
A.DO NOT TURN YOUR PSP OFF AFTER YOU HAVE STARTED THE FLASH ! YOU WILL BREAK YOUR PSP !
B.PLEASE REMBER I CLAIM NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY DAMAGE Y O U MIGHT DO TO YOUR PSP

III. Process
Have your tools ready and your psp UNplugged from the adapter. load up your 2.0 upgrade disk and wait untill it asks you to make sure your psp is plugged into the ac adapter. at this point, open your umd drive and replace the 2.0 disk with a 1.5 game. games ive seen with 1.5 are, Midnight Club 3, Coded arms Lumines AMERICAN, euro games wont work sorry....... after your 2.0 disk is replaced with your game (some people have reported that they had to tape the umd tab down) plug in your ac adapter and continue with the firmware "upgrade". DO NOT UNPLUG OR POWER OFF YOUR PSP, NO MATER WHAT IT DOES !!!(fire is an exception, but thats never gonna happen) once your firmware "upgrade" is complete go into sys settings and check the firmware, it should be 1.50, if its not, 1.be happy your psp still works and 2.you prolly used a different firmware version disk than 1.50..... Thats it, your done, go dl some emulators rip your psp games to your mem stick and have fun not carring around 42098409283 umds....

yea you dident say 2gb, but you did say 600-800 which is a little much. anyone done this ? id like some responses from ppl who are willing to do this, have done it already

This is OLD news man, about 2 outta 50 people actually claimed that this worked, but there has never been any proof, as i a proper clear video with bright light and full PSP in view at ALL TIMES, etc etc you get my gist... So if you have so-called "Tried" it, why didnt you film it and show us? Then your "tutorial" would be more valuable. The whole downgrade thing is slowing down... think about it, WAB announced that they would release a downgrader on the 1st of September, but nothing has come, its been 2 weeks already... Mr A suggest that its impossible to downgrade, and most videos are faked.

Where is the real warez....someone must be able to programme something soon... Anyway UMD method doesnt work 99% of the time apparently....care to prove me wrong?

did i say i tried it ? no i said "This is what i have compilied from various posts" 2nd i only did this because there were more than 5 ppl asking for it, 3rd i live in america = no 2.0 umd disk, however, i work at gamestop and i CONSTANTLY see 1.5, 1.51, 1.52, and 2.0 psps coming and going. so if someone is willing to send me a 2.0 umd disk i will borrow a camera, and do this. until then its all speculation. 4th mr. a never said anything about this, all he did was flame wab (rightfully so, they took donations and never put out anything worthwhile...) and explain how hard it would be to downgrade. i also remember him mentioning that it would be easier to focous on firmware cracks.... so before you scrubs flame, read. www.fuckinggoogleit.com

This has all been talked about be4, let the mods plz close this tread be4 some poor soul tries this (again!!) and turns his PSP into a nice paperweight (again!!!!). This method DOES NOT work, the PSP will notice that you change the disk. IF you are so stupid as 2 put tape on the UMD-open-door-sensor, and change the disk, you will permanently disable yout PSP.
