My brothers had it for a few years ago and recently decided to hook it up..the only problem is i kinda lost the cd when i messed with it. i tried searching online through diffrent search engines and i cant figure out what to do. is it possible to acquire a disk without having to purchase another network adapter?

You dont need the disc. Every game I have ever played has an option to set up your network configuration. I never had the disc and never had any problems. I personally play Socom: CA online all the time.

oo, anyone got info on how to set-up the connection between the ps2 and a router? cause i also lost the instruction manual so idk what wires to buy and such. anyone got any easy set-up?

As in you want to play wirelessly? If youre just plugging in directly then you dont have to worry about anything else.
Oh and to gabranth: Socom 2 was alright but Socom 1 was forever better. Anyway I like S3 and CA better than S2 anyday.
