if you do not want to answer there question don’t if you don’t want to read there posts don’t its that simple

everybody has to start somewhere the problem with most forums is when somebody asks something and they get "arrgg how dare you not know the answere already, im sad why don’t girls like me I want you to beg for the answere"
rivera_129
i just want to point out that newbs should do some research instead of being lazy
ping33
yeah but research is harder now that there is a lot of knowlege to absorb... most of us "older" people had to go through several iterations of homebrew and loaders (I think I FINALLY taught the last person at work how to run Coded Arms through the dedicated loader the day before Fastloader 0.5 came out :|)
I too don't really like the 5 PMs a day all asking the same question... but I just don't answer them.

It's standard procedure for all forums anywhere, regardless of topic and audience. The seeming majority always seem to prefer to be given answers to their questions rather than look for them themselves. It's a systemic problem that will never go away, and the best you can do is make the answers as obvious as possible so when people ask the question that has been answered in the posted immediately above theirs, they can be pointed to it and hopefully become educated.

No point complaining about it, won't achieve anything unfortunately.
rivera_129
ok im not complaining im just stating a fact you guys dont have to get your panties up in a bunch
joeygoey
Like steve said, if the answer is given to the newbie in such a way they will understand, and wont have to ask again, and leaves the topic say with only 3/4 replies then that is fine.

The more newbs the better as long as they post I don't care.
Ninkul
lol, nice view on things there Optimus tongue.gif

Im fine with whatever as long as they're not like..

I admit it can be annoying when people ask a question you answer them they don’t believe you and ask the same question 3 times it makes it seem like its not worth the effort

although a lot of people are full of shit so I can kind of understand

I can understand the general gripe though, that's why there are forums. Not just to ask your questions but to use as reference, run a search, see if someone else has asked that very same question before and what the replies were. It's true that some people can be too lazy to check.

I got a PM yesterday asking for my phone number so I could walk someone through something... I don't care HOW noobish you are... that is an internet faux pa in my book.
