so basically I take iso use the optimize in UMD GEN that does dummy files i guess and a few other things

then compress to .cso with a compression level of 9

any other tricks for making small, i dont want to rip all the music out or anything like that either, that kinda ruins it

any other cool ways of freeing up space ?



oh yea i know using .dax will but 3.03 oe-b doesnt have that atm, but im sure it will here in the future

Well you could delte the UPDATE file or mayby delete the Wireless connection bit or the Cut scenes but theres no easy way of explaning how to delete them because the files are different for each game so just browse about with UMD gen and delete files that you reckonise and do not use...

You could rip out the videos and audio for the other languages; for some games that frees up a lot of space.

GTA was my best game i took out about 500mb by deleting the radio but he dosent want to delete any movies or audio.

well update pad files and stuff like that saves quite a bit too and dummy files so yea .............


but yea taking audio and mvoies away kinda takes away from the games fun.

oh well hopefully they get dax support in 3.03 here soon
