Hi all,

I recently updated to 3.02 custom and I booted up the psp tonight and got a pink screen with white writing that appeared to be a recovery console for 3.02. I wasn't sure what to make of it. I tried exiting the menu and even rebooting the psp but still got the same screen popping up. I finally reverted to taking out the battery and and seemed to work. So I played one game, shut it off for a while and went back later, booted it up to see the same pink menu. Has anyone else run into this? Should I revert back to 1.50 and then reflash? Thanks for the help.

Have you checked all the settings?

Sounds like you have set it to boot up on startup.

Hmm is your R button sticky? Because that loads up when you hold down R when booting up your psp. If its still not working try going back to 1.5 then back up to 3.03OE XD

That was exactly it. My right shoulder button does stick. I played with it last night and discovered that's what it was. Guess I'll go grab my can of air. Thanks.

Check the settings first

he he i thought it was a daft idea but i was right it was the right button being sticky !! well your gna have to get that sorted out or work on 1.5 untill you get it fixed
