Hey everyone, I want to be able to do stuff like control my PC's mouse from my PSP, like a remote control, so I can do stuff like start some music playing or a video and have access to files on my computer from my PSP, but I don't have WiFi at my house (and I can't get it where I live) and none of the programs I see can do this without WiFi! In my opinion, if I can play ad-hoc games against other PSPs without needing a WiFi connection, I should be able to use ad-hoc to connect to my PC without WiFi! I know my computer has a wireless card in it (if that matters) and one time when my friend and I were playing ad-hoc against eachother with our PSP's, my mom was in the room and her computer picked up the signals and her computer said "wireless network found" and she clicked on it and it said the game we were playing :/ so it should be able to connect to my PSP I just need a program to make this work! Any help is appreciated wink.gif

I'm not sure if it works using adhoc, but I think this is what you want: http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/901

Dude, AdHoc mode creates a wireless connection betwwen multiple psps in range of each other, wireless connection to the internet is something else entirely....

The connection was visible from a PC, because well, it's a PC. The PSP, if you search for it can find a signal, it might not be able to access it though(I found that some elevators use a wireless signal for communication with building maintenance computers but couldn't access it)

I was wondering that aswell, im sure it must be possible, maybe if you could fool the psp into thinking the pc was a psp? dunno unsure.gif

Sounds like a non-starter to me.

Cool idea though.

I use www.logmein.com to control my pc with my psp but it does need an internet conection.

Logmein.com has a great free option and I would recommend it to anyone.
