I have tried many games on my PSP, but it always says "corupted data" and some numbers.

Why is this? Its european.. Baught it today.

Cause you are running 1.52 firmware, obviously you havent read up in the forums much about this particular problem lol You need 1.00 or 1.50 to run games etc... But you are a naughty chappy for downloading illegal games!! Tsk Tsk.

Dude, I got my PSP and then I left to a paintball war for 4 hours, then I came home late and was already sleeping, so no I didnt look much.

Its not Sony software, its user-created. Only software liscenced by sony should be albe to run without any exploits of kinds. The psp wasnt generally made for homebrew

well, just wait for WAB to (hopefully) release their downgrader so you can downgrade your firmware and play homebrew/stuff

If you bought a PSP with the sole intent of playing only pirated games, then you've got a problem. That's the exact reason why you can't play non-official software on 1.52, Sony fixed the "fault" with the firmware in an effort to actually sell some games so that the companies producing them get some money so they can continue to make more games.

At this time there is NO way to play anything other than games on UMDs on any firmware newer than 1.50. Any PSP bought in the last month will have a firmware newer than this and so you can't play anything on them except store-bought games.

Using a Search function would save time though.

I know it's crewl to say that when I got a 1.5 psp but most people buy now there psp to play warezed games.... I think that is lame,ghey and cheap!

I bought games I liked! Now I download games and check them out and buy them... But some people think they support the makes when they download and play a game... lol...

I didnt buy it to play pirated games. But I have to wait like for ever to get payed again, so its boring to have a PSP without any games.

you could always update to 2.0 and enjoy the avc videos & web browser...

That would be a better option. The AVC movies are pretty useful, quality is very good. You can also use it as an MP3 player. The web-browser works well.

I would've thought it'd be better to research first, and then after finding out the facts, save up a bit more and buy a PSP and a game at the same time.
