I think every psp has this 3way glow coming out from the top, specialy when looking at it from a very specific angle.

As for the downgrader sorry but i have no idea.
Brick your PSP and take it back in the afternoon when the staff changes. tongue.gif

you know what i am saying ..........its like a glow or seperation between the lcd and the case and if you hold it flat to the eath you can see light come through or slightly angled..........it seems it would be sealed

pissing me off casue i dont want it to not be sealed then all at once dust start getting in there ............

grr i wish small shit didnt piss me off but im not tryna pay 250.00 for bad lcd's and dead pixels

.........also do pixels go bad over time or do they pretty much stay how they are when you get it i have hard the same from both sides
MjW
Yeah i think i know what you are talking about and i think this is how it is. Its not that it was a manufacturing error.
It will be fine since you dont look the psp from that angle anyway when using it.. tongue.gif

Pixels depend on the motion that goes around on the screen.
For example pixels tend to stuck at one color usualy when the picture stays the same for a long period of time and this is a common LCD problem.

Try not to let the psp on pause for a long time while using it. Adjust the power setting to switch of the screen after 2 minutes of inactivity and you will be fine or turn the screen manualy off when you are not going to use it for some time and you can't or dont want to put it to sleep.

Dead pixels happen rarely. The same advise as above might help or maybe not.. tongue.gif
The only solution to dead pixels is replacing the screen. Or take it back if the warranty is still active tongue.gif

im just real curious if you know what i am talkng about with the light coming through the upper screen portion if you kinda hld it at a flat angle i didnt notice it on my last psp wink.gif thats the only reason i am worried biggrin.gif

as for the pixel matter ............i will take it back in a matter of minutes if i even think i am spotting one smile.gif
Captain_Mod
ya i now what you mean but it odesnt do anything so dont worry about it and just take it back or keep it not much to say, my psp looks at the top like there is a light to but it doesnt bother me also my psp sound dies every once and a while but thats not a proable to me becuase i use the headheet the most when i play but hust take the the psp back if it bothers you so much best you can do i have taken to psps back and the third one worked great so maybe same for you. Good luck.
