I've got a 1 and 2 gig san disk memory stick duo pro.
Transfer speed via usb2 are really slow!
For example, 400 megs can take 20 minutes.
Any idea on how to speed it up?

I never have that problem.. Maybe it's your computer and not the memory sticks.

You're right Don. It's my card reader, it's a usb 1 I think.
Plugging the psp directly to the PC has fast normal usb2 speed.

i had the same probably when i got a newer computer it solved everything, your usb drive is out of date you have to update the software and or buy a new computer.

i suggest updating it first for buying a brand new pc will cost you a big hole in your pocket but if you can afford it and would like to fix your usb problem more power to ya

The bigger cards seem to transfer slower.
My 4GB seems a lot slower than my 2GB one.
Or have I got a dud?

I have a windows98 and transfering stuff to my psp takes forever, but at least it works! At first my 1GB wouldn't work and it was pissing me off, everytime I tryed to put a video on it, the whole screen would go black then a message (Unable to write to disk F Error 00000-00000) Then all I did was format my mem stick 3 times through the psp and HOORAY!!! It finally worked!!!!
