I installed 3.02 oe a for a second time on a psp and everything installed correctly but it doesnt boot all i get is a black screen and then it shuts off any clues?? and i can go to the recover which i did went back 2 1.5 and reinstalled it again but same thing.....

Well, you've got a brick. Hold down R when you try to start it to see if it still installed recovery mode. If you do, then get a 1.5 or 2.71 eboot and put it in PSP/GAME/RECOVERY. Go into the recovery mode, and "Run program at /PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP"

also try downloading the package again to a different uploader, maybe the files you downloaded is corrupted

yea thats a brick just use recovery mode to go back to 1.5 then use a easy installer like psphoaxers and reinstall 3.02 OEB

if the same thing happens again e-mail and i'll give you a step-by-step tutorial and all the things you need (the ones i used) just post a comment asking for my e-mail

try installing it again.
