Is this correct?
A or Nothing=1.5
B = 1.51
C = 1.52
D = 2.00
E = 2.01
F = 2.50
G = 2.60
? = 2.70
? = 2.71
Would love to know the letter for 2.70 and 2.71.
Also is there a letter that corresponds to the TA-82 motherboard?

Get any PSP firmware that is below 2.71. If you purchase it from small consumer stores or an online outlet you can get full details on ISO/Homebrew compatibility. For example, a small computer shop; in the united kingdom we have many.

Your list is pretty much correct, but even so it's not a certainty you will get the firmware you expect.

The ideal PSP:
1. - has firmware 2.71 or below
2. - is NOT a TA-082
