Looked in the letterbox this morning on the way to work, and lo & behold, a parcel from Sony NZ containing a welcome letter and my free copy of the Spiderman 2 UMD.

Pretty quick considering. Give me something to watch tonight, nothing else on telly on Tuesdays.

The Spiderman 2 UMD offer was only for the first few thousand people who got the European/Australian/New Zealand PSPs and registered the PSP on the yourpsp.com website. The rest of the world got their PSPs several months previously instead...

The poor refresh rate of the PSP makes it a bit painful for watching action movies on. Looks pretty though.

Just noticed too - the UMD is Zone 2 & 4. They've obviously used the same batch for the freebies for Europe and Australasia. Wonder if the store-bought version is the same or not.

It loads okay on my Jap PSP, so it's obviously happy about the "other" Zone 2 as well.

Im waiting for mine too, good to hear they actually sent them out, im in London, England must be the same batch of Spiderman 2 UMDs if they are region 2 and 4.

How long did it took before you got it?

Well the PSP was released and regged on the 1st, it arrived yesterday, so 5 days. Including a weekend.

I got mine the other day 29/09/2005, so they are still sending them out if people havn't registered yet.
I notcie though it doesnt come very secure and is address to "Playstation Owner" would be very easy for Royal Mail to open them up and see there is a film inside! could explain why some people havn't received them.

Also interestingly, mine says it's region 2 and 4 yet works fine in my US region 1 psp v1.50!! Not sure why it works? anyone know why?

Got my one today even though I used a JAP PSP to register for it inthe UK

Well, my daughter's was in post this morning, but no sign of mine yet - and I registered first!

Mine came yesterday and it works fine on my US PSP. It hasn't even took a week to come through the post.

It's nice to get a little something back for something as little as registering cheers sony
