I have a TA-082 mobo .. now is it impossible to downgrade to 1.5 ?
im quite confused ...some say theres a way to change the mobo & then get it downgraded but it sounds like it has something to do with soldering etc... which basically scares me

If you have a TA-082 you cannot downgrade to 1.50.

The only way you can run homebrew with a TA-082 is on 2.71 firmware.

If you have above 2.71 firmware, you cannot downgrade at all, and therefore you cannot run homebrew, sorry.

if you have the 2.71 firmware you can use HEN-D, it can be found in our downloads section

so if i find a psp with 2.71 and the ta-082 mobo i can use this hen-d to get to 1.5
i am 2.8 with the ta-082

your a 2.81 TA-082 u CANNOT use HEN-D your pretty much.. out of luck dude.. sorry

normal 2.8X hasnt even been able to downgrade yet so theres gonna be a long long long time till ta-082 2.8x downgrade or emulator comes out

It is not going to happen. Ta-082 models will never go below 2.71, uness you are a personal friend of 0okm. I would suggest trading that PSP in for a TA-079 2.71 or below.

You need to get your stuff straight before you post. TA-082 models don't go below 2.5.

Hi I'm also having Ta-082 PSP but I do not have much problem playing ISOs . Not to worry too much just simply use Hen C or Hen D .

I have yet to update mine to Hen D because I dun know whether it is easier to use or not in Hend .

But for Hen C , i'll get 100% when everytime I try to emulate by.


My technics as follows whenever the PSP hang.
** Note : This is after the updating .. please refer how to update the henc or hend instructions carefully.
1. Take out the battery
2. Put back the battery
3. Open the UMD and switch on
4. Go to photo and run henc photo
5. Wait till it restart automatically.
6. Now close the UMD and run devhook enabler.

This way it's 100% can run the ISO.

By the way anyone tried to play using Devhook 0.51 ? will it work ?

I'm not too sure whether I can post another forums in this but here is the site which helps you upgrade your HEND.

i have IC1003 written and 2.82fw
IC1003 means TA-082 and not TA-079 rit ? and i guess ur right im probly gonna have to get it exchanged for one tht has 1.5

Also, Do u think it would be possible to get PSP's with TA-082/79 downgraded to 1.5 in the near future ?

Yes you are right, it is a TA-082, which cannot be downgraded below 2.50 in any case.
Also, because it's a 2.82, you can't downgrade anyway.

Try and get it replaced for a PSP which:
- is NOT a TA-082
AND
- has 2.71 firmware or below

I just purchased a PSP Mobo TA-082 with 2.71 firmware. Am I right to understand that I can able to use the new PSP DevHook v0.51.0100 that has been released? How user friendly is this to use for a complete PSP NOOB? I've used exploits and such for my PS2 and have flash my PC mobo BIOS in the past without problems.

Thanks, I've downloaded that and will try to get all working! After I get this can I also use the 2.71 SE FW I've read about, or is the 3.02 the best right now. I'm extremely new to this. Also, will the new UMD games we bought request to update if I play them under the devhook and 3.02 FW???

Unfortunately you can't use the 2.71 SE custom firmware with a TA-082 motherboard.
Anyway, DevHook 0.51 emulating 3.02 is the best for games right now.
The new UMD games should play fine using DevHook and 3.02 firmware, just set it to play the UMD disc instead of an image.
