Many of you (including my self) have been wondering about those annoying dead pixels that are on the screen of your PSP. Stuck pixels occur commonly in LCD products and can at times cure themselves when they just happen to fire or cycle properly. Dead pixels usually are red, black, white or blue. psp-arena has created a video based off a DVD that runs on LCD TVs to fix stuck pixels. This MP4 video flashes red, green, and blue frames rapidly and stimulates stuck pixels which will hopefully have them working again. Since true 'dead' pixels can never be fixed, this may not totally solve the problem but it is worth a try.

I had six dead(ish) pixels on mine...ran this for 24 hours straight, and it fixed a couple of them. Pissed me off after I took the PSP back TWICE for the dead pixels, finally RMA'd it to Sony for repairs, and got one back that had even more dead pixels than the one I sent in! At least these were all in different spots (the old one had them all clustered right around the clock, and in the black bars around video). Ran it again for two days straight, and it fixed the two brightest ones (they were white pixels), but since then, I just got used to them...don't even notice them anymore.
