I have had a few parents contact me about my boob avatar, saying that it is disrepectful and demeaning. blah blah blah.

I have used this avatar on many forums for plenty of years.

So state your opinon on if i should get myself a new avatar , or if I should hold my ground and keep it !

It's just a pair of covered boobs. What's the big deal? It's not exactly disrespectful if the lady does it herself; that's what it looks like to me because I can see her shoulders moving. Why are they complaining about a non-nude gif picture when theres a freaking porn section?

I tutor calculus in the college tutoring center and I like to pop on and weed out some spam while working sometimes. I'm supposed to be immune to sexual discrimination and "diversity aware" and I do get some funny looks when something like your avatar is on my laptop screen. It's one less thing I would have to explain myself over if it were changed.

I do like boobs though, and that is an awfully nice rack...

To be honest i believe they should be kept. There DJP'S trademark. Anyways, as previously stated, kids and teenagers only have to visit the download section(s) of PSP-SPOT and there hand will be akin for weeks. Anyways, they will see them more than enough in life. Its nothing to be poetically, bothered about.

I even reported it!! Sorry, didnt know what I was doing!! Im at chool and that might get me in trouble, PSP spot wold be much more friendlyier.. I dont mind swears in music [since I can just use headphones so no one around hears and complains], but I think thats bad. Atleast there;s no nip showing, but It personally grosses me out and everytime there's a message from DJP and scroll down to get it out of sight and I often miss the first part of the message... Its not really offensive but gross and I use public PCs and could get in trouble and at home when I get internet too......

The Avatar is no more offensive than seeing titties bounce at the beach, or music videos... Parents need to worry about more than an avatar if their kids are here.

keep it, if parents want to avoid their kids to see this sort of 'unwanted' stuff then perhaps they should also prevent their kids from watching music videos, go to the beach. besides, the kids are gonna see it eventually.

me im no parent, but i can understand where they are coming from, but also i understand that here in america there is a thing called freedom of speach. it is up to the parent to try and prevent their kids from looking at what they think is objectional, but i must say growing up, my parents tried this, it only made me dig deeper for better porn. so i say no change not your avitar for the wishes of few.

I don't care about the avatar either way, but in response to this particular post... Parents ARE worried about more than an avatar. Just because a parent is worried about big things like porn, cursing, drugs, or sex, that doesn't mean that can't also be worried about what they might consider an inappropriate avatar as well. I don't know if you have children, but the world looks a lot different with them, and parents often act irrational sometimes doing whatever they can to protect their children's innocence. I know I don't want my daughter watching things like The Shield even though my wife and I watch it, and I know its a double standard... Anyway, this turned into preaching, which I didn't mean for. I just wanted to say that parents worry about absolutely everything when it comes to their kids, whether it makes sense to or not.
