Retailers this week are offering hot holiday deals for Microsoft Corp.'s Xbox 360 console.

The Xbox 360 dropped to retail in Nov. 2005 and has sold more than 6 million units to date.

To up the holiday ante, retailers are offering free games, discounted games, and more with the purchase of an Xbox 360.

Electronics retailer Fry's is offering an Xbox 360 Premium Console, Condemned: Criminal Origins, GUN, and Ridge Racer 6 for $459.99.

Video games retailer EBGames.com is offering an Xbox 360 Premium Console with free Call of Duty 2 game and product replacement plan for $399.99.

The Xbox 360 is the next-generation incumbent among new video game offerings. Sony Corp. debuted the Playstation 3 on Nov. 17, while Nintendo Co. released Wii to retail on Nov. 19.

Microsoft expects to ship 10 million Xbox 360s by year-end on a strong library of titles, casual offerings on Xbox Live Arcade, and digital distribution of TV shows and movies via Xbox Live Marketplace.
