First off in http://www.psp-spot.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=30861 u say theres no desurity to buy stuff from uers unless you pay, thats dumb not everyone has a credit card...
Anyways, if a PSP is bricked what can be done?? Can you return it to the store or send it back for a repalcement??? Is there a way to reinstall the firmware????

You can only return it to Sony, if your under warranty or if you bught the stores warranty you could return it to the store but i doubt u did.

Did you have a custom firmware? If you did, then you could have a chance to unbrick it.
I dont have it bircked yet but I wanna downgrade my brothers TA-082 from 2.81 to 2.71, and Im not sure if itll brick, and if it does, I dunno what to do! I read on an other forum that some1 said he'll buy a bricked PSP, why would he do that??

realg187 please before you post. You cannot downgrade from over 2.71 and especially if its TA-082! Ive warned you before.... stop spamming.

well n e way a bricked psp there is no way to unbrick it if u never had a custom firmware (implying that u don't have a custom firmware since u had a 2.81 ta-082....) well n e way u can't downgrade it because there is no kernel exploit in 2.81+ thats including 2.80. I have seen that there can be flash0 access to a 2.80 but thats about it i dont' think there is no downgrader *I really doubt they will even take the time to make a downgrader for a 2.80 because anybody who is at a 2.80 either has a ta-082 or has no intention of ever using hombrew*
well n e way u probably read of someone buying a bricked psp over at psp3d because i read that too... they wanted a bricked psp because they were going to replace the motherboard with a 2.60 motherboard not sure if it was a ta-082 or not.... well n e way if u didn't read the same thing as i did then the person who was selling the psp wanted it because they were gunna get another motherboard because thats the only reason i would think someone would want a bricked psp
and one more thing there is downgraders for 2.71 the D_A generic downgrader but if u have a ta-082 motherboard then you could only downgrade to 2.50 but i see no point for downgrading from 2.71 since even with a ta-082 motherboard a 2.71 can still load all homebrew emulating 1.5......
