Madcatz Stealth Case.... available at EB games and other retailers $19.99

For $20 I would go with the Logitech case. It extremely sturdy and protects the psp very well. I personally think its the best case out there.

is it abt the casing that able to play psp or just for storage??if itz for storage,i prefer the soft cover..
NyghtcrawleR
Jan 30 2007, 06:28 PM
I assume storage. I personally dont like the soft case bc the psp still has a better chance of being damaged. The playgear case is good for me. And I found it at EB & circuitcity for only $15 now.

I would go with the Logitech Playgear case hands down..... On the same note, has anyone tried the official psp case put out by sony that looks like the playgear pocket? and if so..... what do you think?

Should I go for the Playgear Pocket or go for those silicon types???
I should still have the screen protector on right??
NyghtcrawleR
Feb 25 2007, 07:44 PM
Yeah I still use the screen protector. Go with the Playgear. Its the best choice imo.

I personally like the playgear one also. There seems to be two versions BTW. A streamlined version which only holds the PSP and another that holds two UMDs and 4, maybe 6 memory sticks. I don't have that many to see.

I have the PSP travelers Case (the Sony Case that looks just like the Logitech one)
I think its great. Way better than just the Playgear case it has a screen shield and also holds 2 games and memory sticks. even though it has a screen shield I do recommend getting a stick on screen shield. you can also still use the Logitech skins kits. although you have to cut a little out of it because on the Sony case there are rubber stoppers so that when you use it to prop open your case it doesn't slide. The Sony Case is a little thicker because of its ability to hold 2 games and 2 MS but you get used to it.
In my opinion Sony took a great design by Logitech and made it better.

I have a case from Black and i really like it.
It can also hold 1 UMD and 4 memorysticks.
I think it looks cool and it's very robust.
My psp in the case has fallen multiple times but no damage.

Lizz, I'm interested in this type of case...it's got to have atleast 2 holders for memory sticks. Is that the name of your case? "Black"?

I'm hesitant about the logitech pocket...no memory stick holder, and the logitech street...too damn big. The only case I've found so far that's small and offers protection like the logitech and yet still have atleast 2 stick holders is the Mad Catz Stealth.

Sony's hardcase. I perfer it over all because [a] $10-15 at EBgames [b] It has two built in UMD holders [c] built in screengaurd [d] the damn rubber stoppers for movie viewing. I like the logitech case but when I went to buy it I saw Sony's PSP hardcase, and I just fell in love xD.

I have a seperate case for games, memory sticks. 2 spots just isnt enough, so I think the logitech case is still the best.

I have a case made by intec, looks like a little pistol case. That is what I tell people when they ask "what's in the case?" My pistol, you should see the looks I get.
I have about 7 umds, 2 memory sticks, my AC adaptor and headphones and I still have room for more.
If someone can tell me how to upload pics I will.

i just bought a case from gamestop for $20.. now, normally i dont buy products with the gamestores name on it.. but this baby is nice. Holds 12 mem sticks, 12 games, car charger, ac adapter, earphones, Griffin FM transmitter and of course, my psp... and its not big. It's storage is maximized by utilizing 2 separate zipper pockets.
It's 9 x 7 1/2 x 3. which is the size of most cd cases...and it comes in a bunch of different colors. mine is black and red.
the only thing i dont like about it is the gamestop patch thats on it.. but ill be removing it once i find a cool patch to cover the spot.
i can take pictures if anyone is interested to see it.

heres some pics of the case..
figured a dollar bill would work best for measure
the first opening holds 12 games..plus the instruction booklets fit with plenty of room.

in this pic you can see that the psp is cradled in cloth mesh that is really soft.
the pocket below fits my fm transmitter very nicely with velcrow..so it dont move around.
to the top left is where the 12 memory card slots are..and below that is the where i keep the car adapter and headphones...they also have velcrow.

I have one 4gig stick, and I play a lot of SNES games. Therefore, I just use the soft pocket and I generally keep Splinter Cell in the drive. I like to keep it basic.
Still like your setup though.

I have a small Intec case that I picked up on a whim at Gamestop. Very durable. Doesn't hold much else, but with the glare-guard I have on it (which also protects the screen), it doesn't have to.

Guess it's really just a personal preference. I find that mine is really good for gamning on the go, I only have a about 5 games and 2 UMD movies, so the less I have to throw in my messenger bag the better, besides for $10-15 it doesn't get much better

I'm sorry, but those "soft" cases are horrible! What would you depend on more, cloth or bullet-proof glass? Because they make the logitech case out of bullet-proof glass.
