I cant get my PC to hibernate!! I can get my brother's too, but not mine!! They say dat new PCs with have some kind of feature, but my PC was made in 1997! I have a feature in Win98 where you can push the power button and it sleeps, and in XP it does nothing. Hold it to shut down, but then I juts starts back up itself....

Any ideas?? wink.gif

Just a question...Why do you want it to hibernate?
RealG187
It's faster to turn back on and if I am in the middle of something...

My laptop hibernates only when my battery runs out. I didnt think you could hibernate it instead of shutting it down!!

hibernate would get annoying tho if it hibernates when you dont want it to then you have to wait a while..
