AVC yes u can, only on a 2.71 or 2.8 not sure which tho

.mp4 , Works on PSP older versions and on all media players on the computer. AVC works but not on all of the media players.

i prefered AVC when i had 2.71 because of the slightly better quality

Come on guys.. I dont believe you actually say that mp4 SP is better than mp4 AVC..

AVC has better quality. And you can run the psp in less Mhz to preserve battery life and still play the movie perfectly.

But if you are a quallity junkie like me go for PMP. Near UMD quality

I frefer MP4. IT work on my psp. I can't play AVC on my psp 2.71.......why....

I prefer AVC because of the better quality; it works in 3.03 OE-A which most people have so it should be OK to use.

MP4 because i have a 1.5 psp

.MP4 rocks you can watch it on ipod, psp or even quicktime so i think its the best

You can always emulate a higher firmware to see AVC movies.

i think mp4 is more universal but yeah if you like the true widescreen and slightly higher quality go avc... i have 2.7 firmware and in order to play avc files i have to place them in the second avn folder

yeah the hyp is mp4 is better quality but I'm leaning more towards AVC maybe just cuz it's a slight bit bigger so seems like better quality lol

Thanks for the info about the AVC. I will have to try it, I just checked out my encoder program and it gives me the option of doing PS AVC video format. Once I try it out I will let everyone know how the quality is compared to the regular method that I have been using PSP MPGEd - 4 video.

it depends if its a concert or one of my favorite movies ill put it in AVC anything else is in mp4 and wats this PMP format ive heard of it but im not sure wat it is

mvc wtf is that havnt heard of it, id prefer mp4 mpeg4 is DVD quality.
is there a converter to avc? man the files must be huge then.

AVC. it has higher quality and is a smaller file

ive always used AVC its because the videos are smaller and the quality is pretty good

MP4 is better since it's easier to play on PC too, AVS doesnt work that well..

I lower quality anyways since the size is smaller...
