This thread is about using the PSP in Win98, I give the info I know and at the same time someone gives me info..
As far as I know there is no way to connect a PSP in Win98. However if one buys an external card reader and that comes with drivers for Win98, then one should be able to access their card.
What I am saying is one can use card readers, what I dont know is if you can do it directly....

Why would you want windows on your PSP, be it windows 95 or windows vista (obvously ME, XP or Vista would not work- not sure about 98 but im sure there was a thread about 95 ages ago). No matter what OS there are no real key benefits. A waste of time... oh and the chances are IF it does work the PSP will A) lose battery life quickly, B ) Be quite slow.

I think you mis-read.
He wants to connect his PSP to a PC with Windows 98 to transfer files from the PC to the PSP.
I would have thought that there are drivers for Win98, but I don't know anything about them, sorry.

OK, how hard did you search?
I just typed "PSP driver "Windows 98"" into Google and this was the top (number 1) result:
http://www.psp-vault.com/UpDownload-req-vi...ils-lid-873.pspI downloaded it and it looks like a driver for a digital camera, but it might work for the PSP, try it.

I dont know if you ever got your driver for your psp to work in windows98, but this might work. I originally had a driver installed to work on Windows 98 to recognize my psp. Well my girlfriend bought this really cheap digital camera and without my knowledge she installed it on the computer. Well like I said the camera was no good, but the software she installed over rode the original drivers that I had. The good news is that the drivers still work they are just know under a different name. Here is a link if you want to try it. Also make sure you click the driver for the keychain digital camera. Good luck

Yes the PSP can run windows 95 and possibly windows 98 however, the PSP's RAM is very low. The resolution is not a problem. Although you can it will be painfully slow and worthless! Please realg187 search the forum, theres been threads on this topic previously.

I seen about EXEs, but anyways I made this forums about a Win98 Driver but that done. Anyways, I guess the RAM is kinda low..... Actaully my PC can run XP but once again my PC is really slow! threred most likely be no use! More just for fun... Maybe I can connect my PSP to my computer and PSP together can thay can combine their processors..
