hi all,
i have a problem that i hope someone has a solution to. my problem is when i delete ISOs from the ISO folder of fastloader, my mem stick doesn't register the freeing up of space. the iso gets deleted but the available space on my mem stick doesn't reflect this. for example, i have a mem stick 1 gb in size and an iso dats 600mb, when i delete the iso my mem stick still shows that 600mb is used even tho the iso is no longer there. when i try to trasnfer another iso of 600mb it refuses telling me there is not enough space.

this leads to me frequently formatting the mem stick, which i know in the long run isn't really very gd for it.

any advice offered would be greatly appreciated. thnks! biggrin.gif

there is a delay write which happens sometimes... esp if you are using a USB 1.0 connection.

Leave it plugged in to usb longer and use the USB connection on the PSP firmware as it's less buggy then that of fastloader IMO.

hi ping33,
thnks for the advice. but i am using the PSP's USB connection instead of the fastloader one, i'm also on a USB 2 connection and i've tried leaving the the connection on for a while after the deletion but still to no avail. anyone else got any other suggestions??

no, that happened to me when Ripping ISOs through fastloader0.7 and it's USB port but never when deleting working ones from the ISO folder.

thnks for the help ping i've discovered the root of the problem. i posted this same message on another forum site and someone told me to ensure that the files don't go to the recycle bin but are deleted completely. the solution was so simple i can't believe i overlooked it. tongue.gif
