ive tried it before. you have to be careful and not use to much or it leaves funny marks on the screen.

you are better off protecting it first.

It might get rid of the scratch but it can also damage the screen if you use to much.

yea I need that. I've abused my PSP for the past 2 years....Too many collisions with the concrete. It's really a shame, but hey what can I do now.
I still use my PSP daily - doesnt bother my eyes.

U should apply a small amount to a wash cloth and wipe the screen with it. If u put too much then the screen will seem rainbow-like

How did you scratch the screen if you had the protector on it. The card is just to get the bubbles out but you should be only going over the protector, meaning your screen should not be affected seeing as you wouldnt be touching it.

i have a screen protector that goes on like a piece of real thin plastic but it is thick enough to protect all of the messed scratches and if your psp is already scratched it will cover then minor scratches up real nice

worst comes to worst, get a new face plate. 20ish bucks and remove a few screws and your set...
you can get away with not voiding you warrenty if you just carefully uncover the one screw under the upper left part of the sticker.

If the scratches aren't deep you can use toothpaste and a cheesecloth. Toothpaste is an abrasive, it polishes your teeth. We used it to clear up plastic lenses on pressure gauges.

I personally don't know if that stuff works, but I could really use some of it, my screen is so scratched that even the tiniest glare will consume my whole screen, it really sucks that I can only play my psp in the dark.

Use Brasso as a scratch remover.

Mar 1 2007, 12:46 AM
Take a soft cloth, kind of like a lens cleaner. Dab it with alcohol. Then take your psp for a dip into a bucket of luke warm water to wash away the alcohol. At this time do not have the system plugged to an outlet or on. let it resurface. If it does not, call sony emediate.

If you got scratches get Brasso and a microfiber cloth. It takes care of scratches but it takes like half an hour.
