Hi guys! Well I am new to the great UMDGen 3.50 tool, and I have a few questions regarding it....

1) I want to remove the UPDATE folder from my ISOs, and I have been able to do this on a few ISOs successfully. All tested ISOs run OK on the PSP....But my question is, is there ever a scenario, where you remove the UPDATE folder, and the game still works in the start, but gets stuck somewhere ahead in the game ??? I am asking this, because I dont want to play all through the UPDATE-less games to make sure they are OK biggrin.gif .....

2) Secondly, in UMDGen, when I click the UPDATE folder and hit the delete button, UMDGen deletes that folder, but it does maintain the LBA of all the other positions, right ??

3) Lastly, I have some ISOs, which show the ISO stats in UMDGen (Title, Disc ID, Parental Level, Disc Version, Firmware, Version, picture..), and some dont....So what determines whether these are shown in UMDGen or not...and how do I get these back in the ISOs that dont have them ??

4) Is there ever a scenario, where you convert a working CSO or DAX to ISO, and the ISO does NOT work ??

Thanx all......

I remove the files in the UPDATE folder (to reduce the size of the ISO), but keep the folder there just in case.
I've never had any problems with that method.

I'm not sure, have a look at the LBAs at the bottom of the screen before and after deleting the folder.

I'm not sure, but I've noticed that they tend not to be shown if you open CSOs but are normally shown if you convert the CSO to ISO and open that.

I wouldn't think so.
