I just got my PSP back from being repaired by TechRestore, it didn't originally have that TA-082 motherboard however I'm afraid to know if I have gotten one or not. They said the problem was with the Logic Board, is that something else? I don't see any indication of a TA-082 (nothing on the top right corner of inside UMD holder) but is there any other way to tell?

--EDIT--

And one more question, is Dark_AleX's homebrew enabler revision C safe on the TA-082?

When you get your PSP fixed, they don't change your motherboard. The most that would happen is if you send it to Sony, they would update it.

Wow, thanks all, you helped a lot! They shipped it back and it was a 2.6 instead of a 2.71 which it was previously, I will probably upgrade it back to 2.71 and just stick with Hen_C instead of risking the downgrade.

well is it a TA-082 first for 2.6? if it isnt then downgrade to 1.5! and if it IS then upgrade to 2.71 = ]

He already said that he's too scared to downgrade and that he'll just use the HEN C for 2.71.
