Hi,
my bro is thinking of buying a psp for himself, and wants to know if he'll be able to run ISO's on it. I tried to explain the many reasons why he mite not b able to run them because of firmwares, motherboard types, downgraders and risk of bricking, etc, but unlinke me he is all brawn and no brain (he's in the parachute regiment (army)). so what i wanted to know if he were to go out and buy a psp 2morrow, wat r the chances that it'll be a 2.8+ firmware or have a TA-082 motherboard or just basically not downgrade-able?. i live in the U.K and he wants a BLACK psp (if thats any help)

thanks

If it's any help, my friend bought his black PSP from Argos in August; it was a 2.6 TA-081, which I've downgraded to 1.5.
