Hello guys, I have a few questions and sorry they are noob questions, what is kernel mode and what does a eloader do, and if they make a eloader for 2.80 can I play homebrew games on my psp. Any answers would be appreciated.

Kernel mode, I think, is write access to the PSP flash memory (flash0) and possibly other low-level system functions. It is required for a downgrader, and I think some emulators as well.
eLoader is a program that lets you load other homebrew (EBOOT.PBP files) from its menu.
If they make a eLoader for 2.80, you will be able to play some homebrew games on your PSP.
If they make it with kernel mode, you should be able to play all homebrew games on your PSP.
